Mother Ocean

Oft times the rhythms,

Of my soul‘s pain,

Play on the strings,

Of my lonely heart.

And the river of my tears,

Let loose the siren’s cries

As an ocean of lost feelings,

Find their way to my lonely shore.

So this old sailor longs,

For his sultry ocean,

To crash over his burdened shoulders,

To cleanse his weary soul,

And free his lonesome heart.
